amish delights
what? did you say i suck at blogging? whatever. my blog and i were in a fight because it is so lame but this shouldn't surprise you but we kissed and made up. mostly because i get so mad when people don't blog and so i am a hypocrite. get over it. a few weeks ago, we took a sojourn to amish country. for some reason, we left super early. i think out thoughts were that the if amish get up early, so should we. so we did. we hit the road at 7. am people. on a saturday. fun. we made mei li drive. it was a beautiful day and the fields and all were so green and loverly. it was a nice day to visit lancaster, intercourse, bird in hand, blue balls, paradise and other little towns. hey amish, nice names.
look at how that are baling that hay! holy hannah. that would not be easy. it was cool to see though.

this girl in the field was cute.
i am not very good at car pictures but i wish this one had worked out of these two little boys on the fence.
i love these scooters.
mei li and i loved the clothes hanging on the lines
horse, buggy, neck beard. check.

after lancaster county we went to hershey and to hershey park. dave has the pictures of that but i will blog them when i get them. there were some fun roller coasters and i was a wee bit scared at first which apparently makes me " no fun at amusement parks." oh well. anyway, here are the light poles in hershey. again a car shot so not my finest work but do you get the idea of the wrapped and unwrapped kiss? we went to chocolate world and learned that milton hershey was a cool guy. he did a lot of good for that town. i hope i can be like that one day except not that rich.
the hershey factory smoke stacks. it was true that the town smelled of chocolate. mmm.
and that was our saturday adventure. the end.
